How is Ashtanga Yoga different? This 5,000 year-old practice focuses on a series of flowing body movements from one pose to another combined with attention to a specific breathing technique. The mind is calmed and focused through meditative practice. The body is purified and detoxified through increased sweating and circulation. The result is a total mind and body workout.
